Dr. Apurva kumar Pandya is a trained psychologist. He holds masters in Clinical Psychology and a doctorate in Human Development and Family Studies from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Gujarat.

He has more than 15 years of experience in the social sector and research with 60+ scientific publications. His interests broadly attempt to understand psychological and social determinants of health, (digital) health behavior change, health promotion, and the impact of technology on health outcomes of the marginalized population (especially LGBTQ, children on the street and in the juvenile justice settings, women and adolescent girls). Moreover, he explores indigenous counselling approaches for promoting positive health.
